ATS Scorer is a free ATS resume checker built by Vaqnova. Companies use applicant tracking systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Taleo and, in India, Naukri RMS and Darwinbox to read resumes as plain text and rank candidates by keywords. ATS Scorer shows how that software is likely to read your resume, before a recruiter ever sees it.
Upload a PDF or DOCX resume of up to 5 MB and, for the best accuracy, paste the job description. In about 10 seconds you get a score out of 100, the exact keywords you are missing for that job, checks on your sections and formatting, and a prioritised list of fixes. The score combines keyword match, sections, content quality such as numbers and action verbs, formatting and contact details.
It is built for job seekers in India as well as worldwide. The checker understands Indian phone numbers, cities, degrees and tools like Tally and GST, and it works for resumes you send through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, Internshala and company career sites. Role-specific checkers cover jobs such as software engineer, HR, data analyst, accountant and freshers.

Yes. It is free with no signup and no daily limit for normal use. The site is supported by ads and a few affiliate links.
Is my resume stored?
No. Your file is processed in memory to extract the text, scored and immediately discarded. It is never saved, and resume content is never logged.
How is the ATS score calculated?
It combines five checks: keyword match (35% when you paste a job description), sections (20%), content quality such as numbers and action verbs (20%), formatting (15%) and contact details (10%). Without a job description, keywords count for 25% and sections and content for 25% each.
What is a good ATS score?
75 or above is a good target and 85 or more is excellent. Below 50, an ATS may not read your resume properly, so fix formatting, sections and missing keywords first.
Should I upload a PDF or DOCX?
Both work if they contain real text. A text-based PDF exported from Word or Google Docs is usually safest; avoid scanned resumes and PDFs made from images.
Does it work for Naukri and freshers in India?
